QuestionHey :) About your rating on Leipzig's map. Putting the lakes on the map is incredibely useful in summer, since it's an easy way to figure out what to take to your favourite beach. Also, even though it's very specific and complicated, for tourists it's still rather easy- most of the important things are within the inner circle, the Ring as it's called in Leipzig and all the tram lines cross at least one point of it. From each stop round the ring, everything's easy to walk to anyway.
AnswerI have no problem with the inclusion of the lakes: it’s just the style that they’re drawn in that bothers me. The rest of the diagram is precise 45-degree angles, but they are more organic, and perhaps more related to their actual geography. The two different approaches clash a bit and I find it visually distracting.
