Way to miss the point completely. I have no problem with the T itself, it seems to be a pretty comprehensive system. However, it’s over 30 years too late to be the first subway in the world: the London Underground (heard of it?) opened in 1863, and already had electric trains before the T even started.
I have no doubt that people can navigate the system as well, either - but that’s also not my point. The very best transit maps are more than merely informational, they are also beautiful. The Boston map fails on this count and could be so much better.
